This Sacrament of
Confirmation is celebrated in the parish each year.
This
year the date for Confirmation is
Saturday 16th November 2024 at 10am.
Registration for
Confirmation in November 2024 has now closed.
An email has been sent to all those who have registed for the programme
confirming their place.
In preparation for this Sacrament,
home and church are involved. Parents are expected to attend
meetings. There are several special liturgies. Priests
and catechists are involved in preparing the young people
for this Sacrament.
This preparation takes place in the
Church hall
on Saturday afternoons beginning in September 2024 from 2pm to 4:30pm.
Children should be at least in their
twelfth year in order to be Confirmed
(School Year 8 -
September 2024).
You will need provide proof of baptism when applying for Confirmation.
The cost of the programme is £40, this covers the programme
expenses including the coach trip. We ask for this at the first meeting
(cash, cheque or card)
